Replicating its successful business model in Dubai,
Emaar is extending its expertise in creating
master-planned communities to international markets.
Emaar is also developing new competencies in retail,
hospitality and leisure, education, healthcare, finance
and industry, which have evolved from its integrated
approach to customer service and property development.
Emaar Education is the education arm of Emaar.
Raffles Campus Pte Ltd (http://www.rafflescampus.edu.sg),
is a premier education provider based in Singapore with campuses in not only Singapore but also in People's Republic of China and Vietnam. Raffles Campus will manage and operate Emaar's education roster of over 100 educational institutions which include nurseries, international schools, business schools and universities with an emphasis on an integrated model of education from the early development ages in the Nursery and Kindergarten through to the maturity ages in the Tertiary level.
These educational institutions are located close to or
within Emaar's master-planned communities in the MENA
and South Asian Regions and in key international
markets. Emaar's first international school, Emaar International School, opened in Singapore in January
2007 (http://www.eis.edu.sg).
By upholding an integrated pathway model of education as
one of its strengths, Raffles Campus aims to provide the
highest quality private education through its global
campus network. Its main focus is on the ever-important
and vital area of junior, middle and high school
education, which will be integrated under Raffles
International School (http://www.RafflesIS.com).
To house students within all-inclusive premises, we have
three expansive campuses in the Umm Suqeim area. These
campuses have facilities to support our Centres of
Excellence Sciences, Arts and Sports. The Sciences
faculty accommodates six full-equipped laboratories and
also a state-of-the-art technology department with
wireless internet access. Sports facilities include
three multi-purpose halls, two swimming pools, three
tennis courts and abundant field areas for sporting
activities. To take performing arts to new heights, we
have dance studios, music rooms and practice areas which
are acoustically-designed.
Along with these facilities is an education process
that's high in quality. This means an effective
teacher-pupil ratio - smaller class sizes taught by an
academic team of international and local teachers of the
highest calibre.
