Mr Mohamed Bin Ali Alabbar
Chairman
Mohamed
Bin Ali Alabbar, an Executive Director, is the
founding member and Chairman of Emaar PJSC since the
Company's inception on 29th July 1997. He is also
Chairman of the Executive Committee and the
Nomination Committee of Emaar PJSC.
One of the most-identifiable faces of modern Dubai,
Mohamed Bin Ali Alabbar, the Director General of the
Dubai Department of Economic Development, is a
member of the Dubai Executive Council, the supreme
government body with the mandate to synergise all
growth initiatives in Dubai.
A sought-after speaker in international forums, Mr
Alabbar is a founder member of the Arab Business
Council, established by the World Economic Forum.
Euromoney Magazine named him one of five prominent
Arabs in only 50 global economy leaders, while
Advertising Age selected him as one of the
International Marketing Superstars of the Year
(1996). The FDi magazine, published by the Financial
Times Group, named Mr. Alabbar “Middle East
Personality of the Year” and Arabian Business
magazine, in 2006, ranked him sixth among top 50
most influential Arabs.
A graduate in Finance and Business Administration
from Seattle University, USA (1981), Mr Alabbar
initially worked with the UAE Central Bank, before
establishing his presence internationally with a
five-year stint as Director and General Manager of
the Dubai Government-owned Al Khaleej Investments in
Singapore.
Mr Alabbar set up the Department of Economic
Development in 1992, which has pioneered innovative
public policies that strengthened the trade and
business segments of Dubai. Mr Alabbar has served as
Vice Chairman of Dubai Aluminium Company Ltd (DUBAL)
and Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).
As Chairman of Emaar PJSC, one of the largest real
estate companies in the world, Mr Alabbar has been
instrumental in transforming Dubai's real estate
environment into the most vibrant lifestyle property
market in the Middle East. Mr Alabbar spearheads
Emaar's international expansion into the emerging
markets of Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Egypt, Syria,
Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey, Libya, India and Pakistan.
Mr Alabbar is the Chairman of RSH Ltd., a Pan-Asian
marketer, distributor and retailer for branded
sports, golf, active lifestyle and fashion products
with a turnover of AED 1.281 billion (US$348.86
million). He is also a joint venture partner with
Tan Sri Syed Mokhtar Al-Bukhary in the Gulf
International Investment Group (GIIG) for a range of
projects in Asia and the Middle East.
Mr Alabbar is the Chairman of the UAE Golf
Association and was named among the top ten golfing
personalities in the world by Golf World. He is also
Chairman of the Rashid Pediatric Centre, a charity
organization for children with special needs, and
works closely with Arab NGOs to create employment
and develop small businesses.

Vinod
Kumar Gomber
Director
Vinod Kumar is a director of the Company and is also
the Group Chief Executive Officer of Emaar
Properties PJSC. As Group Chief Executive Officer of Emaar
Properties, Vinod Kumar (VK) Gomber is responsible
for the overall management of the Emaar Group of
Companies. Reporting to Mohamed Ali Alabbar,
Chairman of the Board, and the Board of Directors,
VK also heads the Corporate Office.
Tapping into his wealth of experience in diverse
fields of business, Gomber plays a multi-functionary
role at Emaar that covers: strategic planning,
monitoring and management of execution, systems and
processes, legal, human resources, treasury, finance
and tax planning and corporate communications.
VK also oversees the day-to-day operations of Emaar
Group's subsidiaries in Dubai and its operational
arms across the world, with the senior management of
all Emaar Group companies reporting to him.
VK was earlier Executive Director and Group Chief
Operating Officer of RSH Limited, which is listed on
the main board of the Singapore Exchange. He is
credited with leading RSH Group from 1994 to 2006
and transforming the company into a pan-Asian
marketing, distribution and retail giant for sports,
golf, active lifestyle and fashion products. He
expanded the RSH Group market reach to cover eleven
prominent markets in Asia, the Middle East and
beyond.
A post-graduate in Chemistry, VK also holds
post-graduate diplomas in Banking and Finance and
Business Management. A Harvard Business School
alumnus, he did a Program for Management Development
from the prestigious institute in 1992.

Low Ping
Director
Low Ping
joined Emaar in late 2002. She has over a decade of
experience in finance. A certified Chartered
Accountant, Low Ping is a member of the Certified
Public Accountants in Singapore.
Low Ping is currently the executive
director of Emaar Properties PJSC responsible for risk management and all
financial matters pertaining to the Emaar Group,
including budgeting, financial & management
reporting, equity structuring, taxation & Treasury
functions. As Group Managing Director of Hamptons
International, she plays a pivotal role in the
integration of Hamptons into Emaar's businesses and
the scaling up of its operations to meet the Group's
strategic objectives.

Ng Boon Yew
Director
Engaged in the vital task of consistently energizing Emaar's workforce through innovative and market-oriented education and training programmes, Ng Boon Yew brings to Emaar a wealth of experience accrued through several prestigious postings including his position as Executive Chairman, Raffles Campus Pte Ltd, Singapore.
A Chartered Certified Accountant, Boon Yew started his career with a Big 4 International Accounting Firm, and was admitted as Partner within a short span before retiring as a senior Partner in 2000. He qualified as
a Chartered Accountant in London, was admitted as Honorary Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, a Freeman of the City of London and the Livery of the Company. On retiring from public accounting practice in 2000, he acted as Consultant to, before joining Singapore Technologies Pte Ltd as Group Chief Financial Officer in 2002, a position he held until the company's restructuring into Temasek Holdings.
Boon Yew holds various past and current advisory positions to the Singapore government including the Corporate Finance Committee; Chairman of the Disclosure and Accounting Standards Committee; Council on Corporate Disclosure and Governance; Council on Governance of Institutions of a Public Character and the Securities Industry Council; Practice Monitoring Subcommittee of the Public Accountants Oversight Committee; the Board of the National Kidney Foundation where he also serves as Chairman of its Audit Committee; and Agency for Science, Technology and Research.
Boon Yew is recipient of the Public Service Star by the President of Singapore in 2004, and serves on the Boards of various listed companies in Singapore like
the United Overseas Bank Limited, RSH Limited and Fischer Tech Ltd, amongst others. He also sits on the International Council of the UK-based global accounting body, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
