Paid Activity offerings and contact information
Well-rounded students are usually more prepared for challenges in life. So RIS are committed to ensure that our students excel in the academic curriculum, and also in the extracurricular programs.Co-Curricular Activities( CCA’s) are made up of 3 components: Science, Sports and Performing Arts.
Science is best understood when it is taught in an interactive way, which is why our approach to science allows students to investigate, experiment and be hands-on. This way, they can begin to think critically and gain confidence in their own abilities to solve problems.
Sports are essential to the development of students of all ages as it serves to enhance any academic endeavor. Raffles International Schools provide a completely inclusive curriculum, which allows students to develop a healthy, active life and strong leadership skills.
In performing arts, we us music, dance, drama and theater to develop confidence and communication skills. These activities encourage the appreciation, development and understanding of local, regional and international cultures, dance, music and traditions.
In fine arts, students will learn to appreciate the great masters and through the use of painting, pottery and ceramics develop their own individual skills and confidence.
