Secondary school - Community work

Working together, children learn to solve problems and make decisions thereby successfully contributing to their community. They connect local concerns with global issues and gain an awareness of others. All this will serve them now and years later as they transition out of school and into the adult world.

The aim of the Eco-Committee is to take responsibility towards the environment and encourage the students in understanding the importance of the effects of their actions upon the environment. The Eco-Committee works hard to improve the school community and increase environmental awareness through support of several student led campaigns and initiatives. The activities give the students the opportunity in understanding and implementing the school core values by making a difference in and outside the school community.

“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.”
